The "porteñas" like to shop in Alto Palermo.
Officially inaugurated in 1990, the Alto Palermo Shopping Centre was one of the first shopping centres in Argentina. It's a very popular shopping spot for the porteños and especially the porteñas (male and female residents of Buenos Aires).
A stroll through this shopping centre reveals an impressive array of international labels at the disposal of shoppers. The Patio de Comidas (restaurant area) can accommodate 730 people.
